Dr. Cameron Hom is a licensed psychologist who specializes in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for referral questions associated with specific learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, developmental delays, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorders, emotional-behavioral disorders, and intellectual disabilities. Dr. Hom enjoys working with children of all ages from preschool through high school and works collaboratively with children and their families to put individuals at ease during the evaluation process. Dr. Hom is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and worked for eight years as a school psychologist in public school settings. She has extensive knowledge of school-based special education services, 504 accommodations, and response to intervention processes. Dr. Hom is trained in administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2), further enriching her evaluations for individuals on the autism spectrum.

 

Through identification of individuals’ unique strengths and weaknesses during the testing process, Dr. Hom provides tailored recommendations to help children and their families grow and thrive. Dr. Hom earned her B.A. from Emory University and Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of Georgia. She lives in Decatur with her husband, daughter, and son.
